Bsafe Online would like to welcome two new organizations that have joined us in the fight
to keep homes safe online.
Bsafe Online has always been a trusted resource for many faith-based organizations wanting
to protect their members on the Internet. Now included in that list of organizations is the
world’s largest Christian non-profit organization, Focus on the Family.
Focus on the Family has added Bsafe to its list of recommended parental control software
providers. Focus on the Family reaches more than 220 million people in 150 nations. FOTF
provides practical tools, spiritual resources, and emotional support to families at every
stage of life. FOTF recognizes the importance of keeping parents informed and armed with
the tools needed to help protect Christian values in the high-tech home.
Bsafe Online has also teamed with CharacterLink. CharacterLink was founded in 1997 by the
Institute in Basic Life Principles, a non-profit, nondenominational Christian ministry based
in Oak Brook, Illinois. Previously CharacterLink was providing a database of human-reviewed
Internet sites or a “white list” to its members.
CharacterLink’s website says, “By integrating CharacterLink with [Bsafe’s] technology, our
protection will be taken to a whole new level of speed and reliability, while maintaining the
heart of our service: the exclusive human site-evaluation process. Our growing database of over
1 million reviewed sites has been expanded and combined with all the sites filtered through Bsafe’s
rigorous review process.”
Bsafe Online is pleased to be associated with both of these respected organizations. Our goal
has always been to protect families online and maintain integrity in the home. Focus on the Family
and CharacterLink share these aspirations.
