What's New at Bsafe Online

"Great News" - We've Enhanced Our AntiVirus Protection

We are excited to announce that Bsafe Online has licensed the AntiVirus and AntiSpyware products to be utilized in our Security Suite product. McAfee is the largest dedicated security company in the world, proactively securing systems and networks from known and as-yet-undiscovered threats. For years, McAfee's customers and partners have trusted their unmatched security expertise and have confidence in their comprehensive and proven solutions to effectively block attacks and prevent disruptions.

Additionally, McAfee Avert® Labs helps maintain the highest security level possible. Over 100 researchers in 14 countries continuously monitor the latest threats and provide remediation, so that you can stay ahead of the latest threats and respond quickly to emergencies.

This capability will be available to the Bsafe Online customers in release v 5.0 and will be provided as a free upgrade to your current Security Suite product. We bring this to our customers as part of our continued commitment to provide you the best of class in each of the functional areas of Internet protection.

"IM Filtering Here Soon"

The IM Filtering feature will be included in the v5.0 upgrade. This capability will be available for Internet Security Suite and Filter-only customers. The threat to our children and family members who use IM has been well documented in newspaper articles and television exposés dealing with Internet predators. This feature will allow you to monitor all IM activity and protect your family when required to eliminate an IM threat.

The major features being implemented are:

• Allow or block individual IM contacts
• Provides notification of incoming IM messages
• Tracks all IM activity on your PC
• Warns unauthorized IM contacts that sessions are monitored

Current Revisions Available

v4.5.2 - This Suite update, which was released October 12th , 2006, resolves an issue that certain customers are experiencing with moniker errors. This issue occurs whenever an AntiVirus definition file download is interrupted by network failures prior to completion.

v4.5.1 - This Suite update, which was released July 10th, 2006, resolves issues that customers were having periodically when accessing and downloading AntiVirus definition files. We streamlined the process to allow additional simultaneous accesses by customers and a more rapidly efficient download once connected to the servers.
